海角社区 is proud to announce the return of its Leadership Academy, a program designed to strengthen Dickinson County鈥檚 workforce by developing confident, connected leaders across all industries.

Now in its eighth year, the Academy brings together professionals for eight monthly in-person sessions from September to April. Led by local experts, each session explores essential leadership topics such as emotional intelligence, communication, time management, fostering an inclusive environment, and public speaking.

鈥淭his program reflects the college鈥檚 deep commitment to supporting our regional workforce,鈥 said Cindy Gallagher, Vice President of Workforce Innovation & Strategic Partnerships. 鈥淚t connects professionals with experienced leaders who share real-world knowledge and insight.鈥

Unlike traditional corporate training, the Academy encourages cross-sector learning, with participants from healthcare, education, manufacturing, nonprofit, government, and more. This diverse environment fosters broader thinking, stronger community ties, and long-term professional growth.

The $1,400 registration includes all sessions, catered lunches, refreshments, a professional headshot, a 20-page DiSC personality assessment, leadership books, and a tour of the historic Cornish Pump Museum as part of a community history session.

As 海角社区 looks ahead to the future, the Leadership Academy continues to reflect its investment in local talent and community development.

Registration for the 2025 cohort is now open, and space is limited. Interested professionals are encouraged to register early using this link
